Event Policy

1. Purpose

UK Start Now (“Organiser”) presents the following guidelines and expectations for attendees of UK Start Now’s events (“Events”). This Event Policy (“Policy”) outlines the guidelines and expectations for all attendees to ensure a positive and productive experience.

2. Respectful Conduct

All participants are required to uphold a high standard of respect and professionalism towards fellow attendees and any other individuals involved in Events. Discriminatory, offensive, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from Events.

3. Engagement

Active participation and engagement are strongly encouraged during Events. Attendees are invited to ask questions, share experiences and contribute constructively to discussions, fostering an environment of collaboration and learning.

4. Confidentiality

Participants are expected to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or proprietary information shared during Events. This includes discussions, presentations and any materials distributed.

5. Event Materials

Any materials, handouts or resources provided during Events are exclusively intended for personal use and reference. Unauthorised distribution or reproduction of these materials without explicit permission from UK Start Now is strictly prohibited.

6. Registration

Attendance at Events requires prior registration. Seating is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registered attendees will receive event-related communications at the email address provided during registration.

7. Communication

Event-related updates, notifications and information will be communicated primarily through the registered email addresses of attendees. It is the responsibility of attendees to regularly check their email for such communications.

8. Late Arrival

While attendees are encouraged to arrive punctually, latecomers are kindly requested to enter event spaces discreetly to minimise disruption to ongoing activities.

9. Feedback

Constructive feedback regarding Events is greatly appreciated and can be shared with UK Start Now following the conclusion of each Event. This feedback assists in enhancing future iterations of Events.

10. Photography and Recording

By attending Events, you acknowledge and agree that photographs and videos may be taken during the course of Events for marketing and promotional purposes. However, if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please make it known to the event host on the day of Events. Since we respect your privacy and will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Unauthorised photography, audio recording, video recording or any other form of documentation during Events is strictly prohibited unless expressly permitted by the Organiser.

11. Cancellation

In the event that registered attendees are unable to participate, it is requested that they promptly inform the Organiser to allow for the potential inclusion of other interested individuals.

12. Liability

The Organiser assumes no responsibility for the personal belongings of attendees or any liabilities that may arise during the course of Events.

13. Health and Safety

All attendees are expected to comply with health and safety guidelines provided by the event venue. Any specific instructions must be adhered to for the well-being of all participants.

14. Data Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event-related purposes. Attendees’ data will be stored securely.

15. Legal Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from Events will be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of England.

16. Severability

If any part of this Policy is found to be unenforceable, the remainder of the Policy remains in effect.

17. Indemnification

In the event that information received at Events fails to contribute to its objectives or intended outcomes, attendees shall indemnify the Organiser and all third-party contributors involved in the planning and execution of Events against any resulting liabilities or claims.

18. Court Enforceability

If any clause or provision within this Policy is deemed unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction in England, the remaining clauses and provisions will continue to be fully effective.

By participating in the Events held by this Organiser, attendees acknowledge their agreement to abide by this Policy. Since this collective adherence ensures a harmonious, enriching and secure environment for all participants.
